This is a list of short break friendly accommodation providers
that are happy to take bookings from walkers and cyclists. Not many
accommodation providers enjoy one night stays, so if you are used to
being told "sorry we are fully booked" - you should use this short break friendly accommodation database and hopefully get a better response!
This
database is full of all sorts of accommodation, from guest houses and
hotels, to bed and breakfasts, campsites and hostels. The only
requirement for them to be on it is that they accept short break bookings, meaning one and two night breaks as well as the longer, more sort after bookings.

This campsite lies approximately half a mile from the coastal footpath, in a quiet location only 2 miles from St David's. This site boasts a comprehensive and well stocked shop offering meat and vegeatables as well as the normal range of groceries, plus an on-site bakery! So, you will be able to feed yourself and prepare your packed lunch for the next day. With luggage transfers to take care of all your equipment transportation, if you like the idea of sleeping under the stars and catering for yourself then this could be just the site for you. It is essential that you have a booking in place in your name at the camp-site, otherwise the operators may not allow us to leave your luggage. Also you should advise the operators that your luggage and equipment will be arriving ahead of you, in case they foresee any problems. This is especially relevant during high season.

Celtic Camping & Bunkhouse Accommodation - Berea
This is bunkhouse accommodation, but there is also a campsite if your preferred accommodation is under canvas. The coastal path runs right through the farm from the little beach at Aber Pwll so it couldn't be better! With stunning views, this site could prove to be your perfect stopover or base if you wish to factor in a rest day. Breakfast is also available. If you are camping, please remember that it is essential that you have a booking in place in your name at the camp-site, otherwise the operators may not allow us to leave your luggage. The coastal bus does go part of the way but your hosts are prepared to offer a pick-up/drop-off service and once your are at Crug Glas you don't have to go another step for your evening meal. With a wealth of facilities this could be an overnight stop, or longer if you have factored in a rest day. For those wanting a cooked breakfast they are available to suit all dietary tastes and needs from the local public house, The Sloop Inn, situated in Porthgain, just a very short walk away. The lodges are either double or twin. The cottages sleep from 2 to 9 people. They all have comfortable en-suite facilities and individually controlled heating so those hardy winter walkers among us can be sure of a warm welcome. If you choose to stay longer than one night and execute a couple of walks from this base, you hosts will offer you a pick/up drop off service FOC. With comfort and stunning sea and coastal views thrown in, this could be just right for you.

This hostel offers family/dormintory accommodation and caters very well for the folk walking the coastal path. Enjoying stunning views from their elevated position this could be a good overnight stop, or base yourself here for a couple of days and walk in both directions before moving on to your next accommodation. There are excellent facilities here for the walker although you will need to ensure you have your own food, but with luggage transfers taking care of the luggage that should not be a problem!

Your hosts at Yr Hafan are walkers themselves and go that extra mile to welcome other walkers. The guesthouse is situated about a mile and a half inland with stunning views and not only do they offer a pick-up/drop off service, they will even ferry you to a nice restaurant and pick you up again. You could stay overnight here, but you may choose to base yourself here for a couple of night and walk the path in both directions before moving on to your next stage. This is quite possible with both the coastal bus service and the pick-up service offered by Anthony. With Luggage Transfers available to move your bags on when you are ready, all you have to do is enjoy your walk and take your photographs.
