Amendments & Cancellations

What happens if I have to cancel my walk before using all my transfers?

Contact the office as soon as you can. Our usual cancellation terms apply to all unused transfers, meaning, any transfers cancelled before 12pm on the day prior to the transfer taking place will be refunded in full.

Can I get a refund?

We offer a full refund for all transfers cancelled before 12.00pm on the day prior to a transfer taking place. If cancelling after 12.00pm and before 7.00pm, you will receive a refund, minus a £10 administration fee. Any cancellations received after 7.00pm, will be treated as a same day cancellation, and no refund will be provided.

Can I make changes to my booking on the day of the transfer?

Sometimes. If it is as simple as the number of bags, or you have changed the accommodation within the same town/village, this is something we can normally amend, as long as you’ve told us before the transfer has taken place. Whilst we are transporting luggage between 9.00am-4pm every, we always ask for amendments to be with us by 9.30am. Fees may apply to same day amendments. We are unable to accept a change of date as an amendment on the day.

Can I amend my booking?

You can make changes to your booking free of charge up until 7.00pm on the day prior to the transfer taking place. If you increase the number of bags additional fees will apply. If you decrease the number of bags you a refund will be provided. The minimum number of bags to be transferred is 1.

Will I get a full refund if I cancel?

If you cancel before 12.00pm the day prior to the transfer taking place you will be entitled to a full refund.

When can I cancel my booking?

We offer free cancellation up until 12.00pm on the day prior to the transfer taking place.

What is the weight limit?

Our maximum weight limit is 20kg per item. Any single item of luggage weighing over 20kg is classed as an overweight item.

Can I add bags whilst en route?

You can add additional luggage to your booking whilst on your holiday, you can do this by phoning the office, or emailing. If there are additional bags on the day of the transfer and the office or driver have not been made aware of this, a red label will be left with your luggage asking you to make payment.

What is the definition of one bag or item of luggage?

We consider 1 item of luggage to be a rucksack, suitcase, holdall, or tent.  In the past we have also moved boot bags, dog beds, travel cots, souvenirs and golf clubs.  Please do not tie items to the outside of bags.  This increases the chance of damage and loss.  To add an extra item of luggage whilst you’re already on your walk, give us a call at the office on 01326 567247.

If I only have one item of luggage do I still have to pay the full two bag rate?

Our prices start from £18 for a single bag.  2 Bags start from £20 (£10.00 per bag).

Unfortunately we can not book parking. The options that we would suggest would be to either speak with your accommodation as they will know the local area best and may be able to advise if there is anywhere you can park, or some accommodations will allow you to leave your vehicle on site for the duration of your trip. Otherwise, you could look online, either googling local parking, or visit

Yes, you can bring your dog with you. There are things to beware regarding safety on the paths, such as keeping them on lead, keeping distance from livestock, keeping your dog away from cliff edges, and ensuring that you have enough water for them. Yellow Luggage Transfers labels will be added on your first transfer, they will include the booking name and reference and we ask that you keep this label on for the duration of your transfers. To enable the driver to identify your luggage for your first pick up, you should have the party name somewhere on your luggage.

Whilst Walking

Do I need to wait with my bags for the driver?

No, you don’t need to wait with your luggage, however when making your booking it is advised (by us) that you inform your accommodation that you will be using our service. When informing the accommodation they are likely to say “no problem”, or they may give you direction for our driver to deliver/collect your luggage from a safe place, or they may have a key safe with a code for our driver.

Will you give us a lift if it rains or we get injured etc?

Unfortunately, our drivers are not legally licenced to carry passengers.

What time will my bags be picked up and delivered?

We ask that your luggage is ready to be collected by 09:00am, and we aim to have your luggage delivered by 4:00pm. Sometimes during the height of the season traffic may cause delays therefore your luggage may not arrive until 4:30-5:00pm.
