Award winning Gable Lodge is a stunning licensed guest house run by Dave, Anne and their family, their ethos is to provide a warm welcome which extends throughout your stay. With an emphasis on environmental awareness, and the use of locally produced produce whenever possible Gable Lodge provides every guest with the feeling that they are the only guests staying. The six spacious and tastefully decorated and furnished bedrooms comprise of doubles, twin and family rooms offering you the choice of outstanding views across the local area, every room is equipped with the little luxuries which make your stay even more welcoming such as central heating, TV., clock radio, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, mini- fridge with fresh milk, new flat screen tv with inbuilt dvd plaver, radio alarm with ipod docking. After a restful nights sleep, a choice of breakfast delights await you, with locally sourced produce and a variety of meals to tempt your tastebuds. In addition to the wonderful breakfasts there is the opportunity to have a packed lunch or picnic hamper made for you for the day ahead, packed with little treats which will barely leave room for you to sample the outstanding evening meal menu. At the end of your day you can either take in the last rays of the sunset on the patio, or sit in the guest lounge with a glass of your favourite wine or beer (Gable Lodge is licensed to serve alcohol), and plan your next days adventures. How to get to Gable Lodge

From Bridgewater (M5 junction 23) - Follow the A39 towards Minehead, continue to Porlock and up Porlock Hill and then, still on the A39, on to Lynmouth. Follow the right hand turn to Lynton up the hill, turning right at the junction near the top. Go through the town passing the Town Hall on your right, Gable Lodge is on your right opposite the United Reform Church
 
From Tiverton (M5 junction 27) - Follow the A361 to Tiverton and then to South Molton. Here take the A399 towards Ilfracombe
about halfway to Ilfracombe at Blackmoor Gate, turn off this road on to the A39 to Lynton. Turn
left at Barbrook Petrol Station and take the left turn at the next junction to Lynton. As you come
round the sharp bend the road swings left , signposted town centre and then turn right at the T junction.
Gable Lodge is a few hundred yards down the road on the left, opposite the United Reform
Church.
 
By public transport - The nearest  train station is Barnstaple. A frequent bus service runs from Barnstaple to Lynton
(Mon to Sat only) & seasonally between Lynton and Ilfracombe & Minehead.
