Our home was built as a Gentleman's Victorian Residence in 1883 and is situated in its own acre of woodland and gardens, in an elevated position within the Torrs Park Conservation Area of Ilfracombe.
The Devonian offers you peace & tranquillity with commanding views looking down over the town and into the valley. The West Wilder Brook flows through the bottom of our gardens and is an ideal position for watching & listening out for resident Owls, Birds, Squirrels, Badgers and Foxes.
We are also very fortunate to be only a stones throw away from the stunning South West Coastal Pathway which travels through the surrounding National Trust land and is a Designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Howe

The harbour became home to Damien Hirst's statue, Verity, in 2012 and is rapidly becoming an arts destination. Ilfracombe is the start of the Route 27 Coast to Coast ride to Plymouth and the South West Coast Path provides wonderful walks with stunning scenery.

Varley House was built at the turn of the 20th century to revitalise and refresh returning officers from the Boer War. The warmth of its generously proportioned rooms is typical of that gracious age.
