Long Distance Walkers Association Long Distance Walkers Association (www.ldwa.org.uk) is the leading provider of information on the UK's 60,000-mile network of promoted walking routes (LDPs) with its public website including listings of over 90 trails support providers and with over 4000 places to stay listed by trail and located on its iteractive mapping, mostly bookable directly online. The LDWA publishes the UK Trailwalker’s Handbook, its LDPs directory, covering over 700 main routes. It organises challenge walks and group social walks with a growing membership of over 8500 and costs only £13 to Join Online.
South West Coast Path Association This is the home of the South West Coast Path Association (SWCPA) which is a registered charity (number 266754) that works to ensure the path is one of the best walks in the world and protects it for all to enjoy. Supporting the charity and adding a voice as a member helps the SWCPA to improve the path and keep the way open to beautiful coastal places. The website has walk information, advice and a web shop where you can buy coast path souvenirs and become a member.
http://www.southwestcoastpath.com/ This is the website for the South West Coast Path Team who are the "official" body for the development of the SWCP. Their website is probably the most comprehensive in the industry for walk planning information.
