I know that this is a forum for South Coast Path Walkers, but I just feel I should mention that maybe you should pause sometimes en route, maybe find one accomodation that is rather nice, and stop over for an extra night, and explore inland a bit. Take Lynmouth for example, the finishing point for the Two Moors Way, that runs across Dartmoor to Exmoor. Take a walk up to Watersmeet, up the steeply wooded valley, with the gushing cool waters running down from the moor above, a truely spectacular sight and a superb introduction to what could be your next long distance walk. Coast to Coast!
